Oriflame Very Me Metallic Nail Polish in AQUA GREEN: Review + Swatch + NOTDs

As you all know every girl loves to flaunt their nails using beautiful shades of nail polishes, so do I. I’m sure you must be one of those ladies who loves applying pretty shades on your nails, right?

Today I’ll be reviewing Oriflame Very Me Metallic Nail Polish. The shade that I’ll be reviewing today is called Aqua Green. If you following my blog, then you must remember that I had reviewed one more shade from the same range. You can read that review HERE.

Let’s have a look at the product first.

HOW TO USE:

Apply your base coat
Apply 2 thin coats of Oriflame Very Me Metallic Nail Polish of your choice
Apply top coat

MY EXPERIENCE: For this range my experience has not been that good. I liked all the shades but its finishing is not satisfactory. It takes like really long to dry and sitting for hours really pisses me off.

Packaging: It comes in a regular nail polish bottle with company’s name on it with ‘metallic polish’ tag. On the bottle you can read all the details about the nail polish on a sticker. It is travel friendly as the bottle is very small and handy.

Shade: It’s a beautiful green shade which is perfect for autumn/ fall season. If you love wearing warm shades, then you must grab this one.

Texture: It’s quite smooth and satisfactory.

Consistency: Its little thick but can be easily applied.

Brush applicator: Smooth but you need to load the brush twice or thrice to cover your nail completely.

Finishing: Really is not satisfactory! It seems to give a very rough look, though the texture is smooth.

Staying power: It is very much important to use base and top coats. Otherwise, it won’t stay well. If applied with top coat, it would last for 7-10 days. If not then it starts fading away.

Dries quickly?: NOT AT ALL!!!! You really have to sit for at least an hour to set it. If you want to make it dry quickly, then you can use fast drying top coat.

Price: It is satisfactory but the quality is not good according to me.

This range has disappointed me little bit and probably the first product from Oriflame that I didn’t liked.

CONS:

Poor finishing
Doesn't dry quickly
Not satisfactory staying power
Thick consistency
You have to load the brush 2-3 times for complete coverage

RATINGS: 3/5

FINAL VERDICT: I’m not a fan of metallic shades and would not recommend you this product if you don’t like to sit for hours to get it dry. This product is not for those who doesn't like warm colors and not a fan of metallic shades.
