ZOYA NAIL POLISH in the shade KALI: REVIEW + SWATCH + NOTD

Hey beautiful pumpkins! I hope you all doing great!

Being a nail art and nail polish lover, I love using different shades on my nails and I absolutely love holding this tag. And what shade a girl would love to wear on her nails? I’ll say pinks, reds, purples, blues, yellows, greens, ahh!! This list is endless for me. But let me ask you, which shade you like the most?
And yes!!! You guessed it right! Today I’m going to review Zoya Nail Enamel in the shade called ‘KALI’ which is a bright pink shade.

PRICE & QUANTITY: Rs. 450 for 15 ml

AVAILABILITY: You can it on purple.com here.

SHELF LIFE: Not mentioned.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
  • Formaldehyde, Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate and Camphor free formula nail enamel.
  • A bright pink shade named as called KALI.
  • This hot pink shade will go along with every outfit and gives a super sexy and hot look to your nails.

INGREDIENTS: Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate Nitrocellulose, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Sterlkonium Hextroite, Acrylates Copolymer, Styrene/ Acrylates Copolymer.

PACKAGING: The Zoya Nail Enamel comes in a big nail polish container made of glass with a big plastic black cap. All the details are written on the bottle with white fonts. It is travel friendly too.

TEXTURE: It gives a sleek and smooth finish to your nails in just one coat but I’d recommend you to apply 2 coats. The texture is smooth.

STAYING POWER: It stayed very well for 7-10 days even without top coat. But if top coat is applied then it lasts for 10-17 days perfectly.

DRYING DURATION: It hardly takes 3 minutes to dry but still I’ll suggest you to wait for 5-7 minutes and apply a layer of top coat.

CONSISTENCY: The consistency is neither too thick nor too thin. Just the right consistency nail enamel should contain.

APPLICATION: Honestly you just need a single coat but to make it more opaque, apply 2 thin coats. Thin coats help the nail enamel to dry faster.

BRUSH APPLICATOR: The brush bristles are soft and does its job perfectly. You need to load the brush again and again. Just a coat and done. It covers your nail in just one coat but still 2 coats are always needed.

MY EXPERIENCE: I tried Zoya’s nail enamel for the first and fell in love with the quality and quantity the brand provides to its customers. As you all know I hold a #nailpolishaddiction tag, I love trying different brands. I've tried many other famous brands but as of for now I’m loving Zoya very much. It dries super fast and you really don’t require a swipe of top coat even. Though I was heart broke when I saw the price tag but then though to give it a try. And believe me; the brand didn't disappoint me at all.
I was very much impressed with the results and surely going to grab many shades very soon.

SWATCH & NOTD: I captured before and after pictures as you can see below. Here (in the image below) I've not applied any top coat.

Here I've applied a layer of top coat. There’s hardly much difference. :p

PROS:
  • Travel friendly
  • Dries fast
  • Opaque in just 2 coats
  • Perfect consistency
  • Stays up to 10 days (without top coat)
  • Smooth texture
  • Perfect for all skin tones
  • Nice brush applicator
CONS:
  • Expensive
RATINGS: 4.5/5

If you are a nail polish lover like me, then you should definitely check out this brand and shade, you’ll surely going to love it. Though it’s expensive as in India these brands are not easily available but once you apply it on your hands, you’ll fall in love with it.
